Representative Adolph Sponsors Health Fair for Local Residents in the 165th Legislative District

State Rep. William F. Adolph Jr. (R-Delaware) is sponsoring a Health Fair for local residents on Thursday, Oct. 7. The event will provide opportunities to obtain important information from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and offer residents access to free health screenings.

“We are holding this event to give folks an opportunity to ask important questions about various health-related issues and to give them a chance to have some screenings completed,” Adolph said. “The event covers a broad array of issues, so I would certainly encourage those with interest to attend.”

Some of the screenings available will include:

  • Flu Shots: Attendees should bring current health insurance or Medicaid cards for flu shot billing.
  • Blood Pressure Screenings.
  • Blood Sugar Screenings.
  • Heel Scans for Osteoporosis.
  • Carbon Monoxide Screenings for Smokers.

The event will be held this Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Springfield County Club, located at 400 W. Sproul Road in Springfield. Those with questions should contact Adolph’s office at 610-544-9878.
